Studio Originals

Studio Originals represents the most exploratory side of Knots & Burls.  Individual works shaped by material, proportion, and experimentation. These pieces move beyond repetition, allowing form and finish to evolve piece by piece. While unified by craftsmanship and geometric clarity, each work stands alone, distinct in character and intent.

Designed and built in our Rockville, Maryland studio, Studio Originals bridges art and utility, offering statement mirrors, sculptural objects, and functional furniture in limited quantities. Each piece reflects an ongoing investigation of form — an opportunity to explore new profiles, surfaces, and ideas without the constraints of series or repetition.
